    Please note that there may be instances where standard products, colors, designs etc are substituted. In these cases, the product fundamentally remains the same; it is only the physical attributes (colors, similar foils, shapes, etc) which may vary. You will receive product or equal to or greater in value in the event of a substitution. In such cases, our commitment to customer satisfaction is our main priority.

    As such, our Terms & Conditions states that changes can only be made by the designer due to product availability issues, and not by request of the client.

    PICKUPS

    While we do accept same day orders based on staff and product availability, we recommend placing your order 24-48 hours ordering in advance for quality control purposes. To learn more, please see "Quality Control and High Standards".

    Delivery

    Same day orders placed prior to noon (12:00 pm that day), are based upon first come first serve delivery availability, and will deliver on the next available truck. Note that your same day delivery may be up until 8:00pm the same day or the next available truck, whichever comes first. This ONLY pertains to gift bouquet deliveries and bulk latex delivery, and no other product, especially decor related products. Seasonal traffic may affect pricing for delivery based on surge times, and may incur additional charges.

    Garlands and Grab + Go Decor

    We recommend ordering at least two weeks in advance. Some items in our online purchasing platform require 48 hours or more to craft as it is labor intensive or crafted to your specific to your needs (ie. personalization). This includes, but is not limited to garlands, columns, arches, marquess, etc. Some items can incur rushed productions charges based on surge times.

    It is very common that we book popular dates out 6-12 months in advance. Availability for holidays and dates that surround holidays, such as New Years, Valentine's Day, and Graduation tend to become unavailable faster in the year.

    For example: in January of each year, we have several clients book our New Years Eve services just after the previous New Year celebration (first two weeks of January).

    If at any point you are worried about a date, please call us at 843-856-9121 to confirm availability before placing your event request form in for approval.

    NOTE: Communicating with us DOES NOT guarantee our services being booked and reserved for your event. See How To Book Our Services. Events are only guaranteed with payment in full, or necessary deposits.

    For optimal service and timely execution of balloon decor pieces, we suggest placing your order at least one week in advance. This time frame allows us to efficiently construct the piece and procure the necessary balloons without incurring rush charges. Delivery and set-up charges will be determined based on the specific requirements of the job, and we are more than happy to provide you with a detailed estimate upon request. Additionally, we can provide a separate quote for the removal of the decor once your event concludes. It's important to note that our balloon pieces are typically designed with client removal in mind to facilitate a smooth post-event experience.

    Due to balloons being a biodegradable, and environmentally sensitive product, we enforce a "Quality Control and High Standards" policy. This policy states that any balloons purchased from our establishment are backed by our quality guarantee.

    Quality Control Policy

    Please note that while we tend to carry the highest quality of brands across all balloon types, not all balloons are made perfectly once we have them placed in our shop. As such, we guarantee that while balloons remain in our care, we assess for damages, leaks, cut, tears, and poppage on a case by case basis, so that in the event of a damaged balloon, we replace that product at no additional cost to you.

    Reporting of Damages Policy

    If in the event we missed a damaged balloon after our initial quality check, you may report your balloon asap for a complimentary replacement.

    Reporting Latex Damage

    If you have a latex balloon rupture after leaving, you have between 30 minutes to 2 operating business hours to file a poppage claim for a complimentary replacement. To receive you complimentary replacement, you must return the damaged balloon in its current condition within 4 operating business hours of having purchased your balloons. Any attempts to return the balloon after the 4 hour mark, or claims made after the 2 hour mark may be rejected for the replacement on a case by case basis.

    Reporting Foil/Mylar Damage

    If you have a foil or mylar balloon rupture after leaving, you have up to 24 hours to file a poppage claim for a complimentary replacement. To receive you complimentary replacement, you must return the damaged balloon in its current condition from 6 hours to 1 operating business day (by 5 pm the next day from purchasing) of having purchased your balloons. Any attempts to return the balloon after the 24 hour mark, or claims made after the 24 hour mark may be rejected for the replacement on a case by case basis.

    *Note: Any damages that have concerning or suspect origins may be denied compensation any any time after purchasing based on a case by case basis. This includes but is not limited to, cutting, ripping tearing, leaving in an un-ideal conditions such as outdoors for long periods of time, etc.*

    While we occasionally have a promo code go out through our email marketing (you can sign up at the bottom of the page), the only other discounts we offer are military discounts. It is a 10% discount with the in person showing of your personal, valid military ID. Must be paid with matching funds to the ID.

    Please note that if you do not hear from us within 1-3 business days, your request has likely been denied due to 1) invalid request/do not qualify, 2) improper paperwork, 3) donation request max limit reached for the annual year.

    We are not currently accepting influencer collaborations at this time except ion a case by case basis.

    On average our latex balloons stay fully infalted in stable conditions (indoors, temperature controled and avoiding abrasive surfaces) for 3-5 days, if not longer. Our foil balloons have a similar life expectancy, though often times superceed this timeframe up to 3-4 weeks on average.

    It is common for customers of ours who return to us saying that they had to eventually just "throw the balloons away as they lasted too long", often times this can be years. We have a few balloons in our store that have blown even us away, some of which are meeting their 4+ year mark of no touch ups/refills.

    PRO TIP: If you are worried about life expectancy, consult one of our designer's or retail assistants to offer their advice on how to prolong the life of your balloons. We will often tell you that the best way to get the most "bang for your buck" is to order ahead and pickup as close to your party time as possible as we then have amble time to prevent & correct any issues in regards to damages made by issues in manufaction.

    Environmental consciousness is best served with latex balloons. They are biodegradable, in that they do not become a permanent fixture in our environment. Their foil counterparts, on the other hand, will stick around for decades to come. The good thing to know is that you can recycle and reuse foil balloons in order to avoid a more harmful impact on the environment. Your safest best when choosing an environmentally conscious balloon is to use latex balloons whenever possible.

    Shipping

    While we are the largest balloon retailer in North America, we currently do not offer standard shipping services. However, shipping options may be available on a case-by-case basis.     When you come for pickup, please try your best to arrive in the arrival window that you have preselected. If there are issues with your arrival time, please call ahead at 843-856-9121 so that we can prepare our staff and your order accordingly.

    At Charleston Ballooon Company, we prebag your order to help alleviate the stress of the balloons flying away or being in the way while you are driving. We highly recommend letting us bag your order, as well as anchor weights for any orders containing helium. When loading in and taking the balloons out of your vehichle, please use one door at a time as two open doors can create a vaccum causing the balloons to fly away or down the street. If you are unsure of how many balloons you can fit in your car, please see the above car chart.

    Note: Orders not picked up on the scheduled date and time will not be issued a refund or credit, or do we guarantee the quality or length of float time. All orders not picked up will be disposed of or donated 48 hours after the scheduled pickup requested time and date. Should you need to change your Pickup date or time, please do so at least 72 hours in advance. Orders already inflated or prepared cannot be rescheduled, or cancelled.

    Here's a few reasons why ordering ahead of your pickup date is beneficial to you:

    1. We guarantee your product.
      If in the event a balloon pops, has a manufacturing damage, or we just do not like the way the product presents, we will change it out at no additional cost to you up until you leave the store's front doors.
    2. There is minimal or no wait time when pickup up your order.
      Because of how we run pickup times, often we get a lot of customers in at the same times. Tha means that we can anticipate this and prebag your balloons, and hand them to you within five minutes of entering the store, and then you are on the way again. Please note, however, there may be a small wait when we have a multitude of same day customers with a low staff count, so patience is appreciated as we will get to you as soon as we can.
    3. We control the damages.
      If a balloon pops while blowing up your order, or prior to your pickup time, we replace the balloons (or substitute it) at no additional cost to you.
    4. Easy convenience of pickup and pre-bagged for you.
      We bag every order so that your balloons are protected against any abrasive surface when transporting to your event location.
    5. We inflate your balloons based on when you need them.
      For example: if you need you balloons for a party on Sunday, set your pickup time for Saturday afternoon. If you need them for a week day, but it's for the following evening, pick it up that morning. If you need it for the following morning, pickup the following evening.

    You have the option of having your delivery brought back to the shop for the receipient to pickup (we will leave a door card stating such).
    You can have us attempt a redelivery for an addtional charge.

    You should recieve a similar text to the exmaple below the day of, to which you MUST respond asap for our deliver person's information. This will give you the most updated delivery times. If you have ordered online, you may receive a email confirmation instead of or in addition to the below message example.

    "Yay! Your balloons are on the way! Estimated arrival: (time)-(time). Please text C to confirm, or text P for us to leave on your porch. We are not responsible for any damages for balloons left unattended after delivery. Failure to respond to this text will result in the balloons being returned to our shop, and additional charges for a second delivery may vary based on our availability."

    Yes!!! You can absolutely place a same day order. Please note the following information.

    All same day deliveries must be placed and received prior to 12:00pm EST, and will be delivered up until 8:00pm EST, or the next available truck for our routes. Please be sure that all delivery information is correct and reflect of the same day request. Any wrong information that may result in misdelivery may either experience a delay in delivery and/or additional delivery charges. Due to our rapid turnaround time for orders, all same day deliveies may NOT be chanaged or cancelled after purchase. If you have any questions please call us at 843-856-9121 prior to you purchase.

    NOTE: ALL ORDERS RECEIVED AFTER 12pm will be pushed to the next truck, or the following business day.

    Event Policies

    The product minimum for us to consider you an event is $750 (Monday through Friday) and $2,500 (Sunday) on product only (excluding tax, delivery, premium upgrades, etc.). Your party may classify as an event if your occasion requires delivery, installation, setup, a large quantity of product, and/or rentals items.

    If you are looking to place an event with Charleston Balloon Company, we may require an event deposit for some events. You may opt in to placing an event deposit in your event application form, or if your event is exceeding a certain bracket or other parameters, a CBC design team member may request the deposit for your specific event.

    So in short, yes, though these must be requested in your event date application.

    As such, our Terms & Conditions states that changes can only be made to customized orders upon substitution by the designer upon product availability or for the overall integrity of the design.

    To ensure the proper setup and quality of our balloon arrangements, we have established the following policy regarding touching balloons during our presence at an event:

    1. Balloon Handling Policy:
    a. You or other event attendees are strictly prohibited from touching the balloons until we have completed our setup and left the premises.
    b. Balloons are delicate and sensitive to handling, and premature touching can cause damage, deflation, or disruption to the arrangements.

    2. Ownership and Responsibility:
    a. If balloons are removed from our hands or tampered with before the completion of our setup, those balloons will be considered the purchaser's property in their "as is" condition.
    b. Once the balloons are touched or taken out of our control, we relinquish responsibility for their quality, durability, and appearance.
    c. Any issues or concerns with the balloons after they have been touched or removed from our care will not be covered under our service guarantee or liability.

    By adhering to this policy, we aim to maintain the integrity and presentation of our balloon arrangements while ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience for our clients. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting these guidelines to ensure the best possible outcome for your event.

    Our event staff will maintain the pre requested weather event instructions requested in your event date application, otherwise if not stated CBC event staff will defer to the Inclement Weather Policy Seen Below.

    We require payment in full at the time an order is placed. An order with us is not confirmed in full until a full payment has been completed (this includes but is not limited to product availability, calendar availability, etc.)

    Payments are nonrefundable only transferable to future events and subject to current pricing as events are tailor made per individual clients requests.

    Notice must be given 7+ days prior in writing in order to reschedule an event for a later date.

    If a cancellation or reschedule is made less than 7 days of the event date, or not received in writing, then all payments are forfeited.

    To ensure clarity and transparency in our payment and order policies, the following guidelines are established:

    1. Payment in Full:
    a. We require full payment at the time an order is placed to confirm the reservation.
    b. An order is considered confirmed only when the full payment has been received, taking into account product availability, calendar availability, and any other relevant factors.

    2. Payment Terms:
    a. Payments made are nonrefundable but can be transferred to future events organized by the client.
    b. In the case of a transfer, the payment will be subject to the current pricing at the time of the future event, as events are tailor-made per individual client requests.
    c. Any price differences or additional charges applicable to the future event will be communicated to the client and must be settled prior to the new event date.

    3. Rescheduling Policy:
    a. Notice of rescheduling an event must be provided in writing at least 7 days in advance of the original event date.
    b. If the rescheduling notice is received within the specified timeframe, we will accommodate the request and transfer the payment to the new event date, subject to availability.
    c. The rescheduled event will be subject to the current pricing and terms in effect at the time of the new event.

    4. Cancellation Policy:
    a. If a cancellation or rescheduling notice is not received in writing or is made within 7 days of the original event date, all payments made will be forfeited.
    b. This policy is necessary to account for the costs, time, and resources involved in preparing and securing products and services for the event.

    By adhering to these payment and order policies, we aim to ensure a fair and efficient process for our clients, while allowing us to maintain the highest level of service and commitment. Please carefully consider these guidelines before placing an order or requesting any changes to your event plans.

    At Charleston Balloon Company, we recognize the importance of documenting our work for events through photography and videography, particularly for sharing on social media platforms. However, to ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of our company and its stakeholders, the following policy regarding photography and videography rights is established:

    1. Prior to Leaving Company Property:
    a. Employees, contractors, and authorized personnel are prohibited from capturing or sharing photographs or videos of company property, assets, or sensitive information on personal or public social media platforms without prior approval.
    b. Approval for capturing and sharing images or videos must be obtained from the relevant department or management personnel responsible for privacy and security matters.

    2. During Setup and at Event Locations:
    a. Photography and videography during setup and at event locations are permitted for non-confidential and non-sensitive aspects, provided it does not disrupt or interfere with ongoing operations or infringe on the privacy rights of individuals present.
    b. Prior approval must be obtained from the event organizer or designated representative before sharing any photographs or videos on social media platforms.
    c. When capturing images or videos, individuals must be mindful of respecting the privacy and preferences of attendees, and refrain from capturing or sharing any content that may be offensive, inappropriate, or unauthorized.

    3. Intellectual Property and Attribution:
    a. Any photographs or videos taken on company property or during events that involve company branding, logos, or intellectual property are considered company assets.
    b. Individuals capturing images or videos are responsible for obtaining proper consent and permissions from individuals featured prominently in the content, and for appropriately attributing and crediting any third-party content used or incorporated.

    Non-compliance with this policy may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to counseling, suspension, or termination, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation. By adhering to this policy, we strive to protect the privacy and security of our company, employees, and stakeholders while promoting responsible and ethical use of social media for documenting our activities and events.

    We are not responsible for any missed email communications that may have landed in your spam or junk folders. It is your responsibility to regularly check these folders when in communication with our event staff for updates, quotes, invoices, and more.

    You event is indoors if the space you request for balloons has (4) walls, an enclosed ceiling, is temperature and elementally controlled, and access doors that remain shut throughout your event.

    ALL OTHER SPACES ARE CONSIDERED OUTDOORS!!!

    EXAMPLES:

    Indoors: ballroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room, lobby.
    Outdoors: pool, pavillion, garage, hanger, porch (screened and open).

    If you have requested a rental piece or framework for your decor to be utilized over the (7) day rental period (ie. 2 weeks/month long), your event quote may read the following policy.

    Extended Rental Policy

    Any framework or rental item requested for use passed the (7) day rental period, may be utilized up to an additional 20 days (27 total days) for an additional rate of $75. Removal for your decor extension must also be predetermined at least 48 hours in advance of your removal request. Failure of removal notice, or specified request of expedited removal will incur additional charges. All rentals are non-disposable, and the client attached to the billable account is responsible for the quality and prevention of loss, theft or damage of the rental item(s).

    Charleston Balloon Company: Balloon Removal Policy

    1. Balloon Removal Process After an Event
    After the event concludes, Charleston Balloon Company will coordinate with the venue or client for the removal of balloon décor. Our team will ensure the safe and timely dismantling of the setup, adhering to any guidelines provided by the venue or the client. Balloon removal typically occurs within a scheduled window post-event.

    • Standard Procedure: A removal time will be prearranged during the initial booking to ensure a smooth transition.
    • Client Communication: The client or first point of contact will be notified when removal is underway or completed.

    2. Venue Access for Balloon Removal
    It is the responsibility of the client to ensure Charleston Balloon Company has access to the venue for removal at the scheduled time. If access is denied at the time of removal, the following policy will apply:

    • Denied Access Procedure: If the Charleston Balloon Company team is unable to access the venue due to unforeseen restrictions or denied entry, the client will be charged a removal fee again for a second attempt.
    • Rescheduling for Second Attempt: Charleston Balloon Company will coordinate with the client or the first point of contact to reschedule a new removal time that ensures access.
    • Additional Fee: A second removal fee will apply for the rescheduled attempt, covering transportation and labor costs.

    3. Client Responsibility
    It is the client's responsibility to:

    • Communicate any venue restrictions or access issues before the event.
    • Ensure proper arrangements are made with the venue to avoid delays in removal.
      Failure to do so may result in additional fees as per the policy outlined above.
