    Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

    COVID-19 Safety Policy

    With Covid-19 being ever prevalent, it is under our policy that should a "get well" bouquet or any other purchase be scheduled for a delivery to a recipient with Covid, the purchaser is required to ensure that employee taking the order is made aware of this. Failure to do so, resulting in an employee's exposure, may be liable for legal action.

    We deliver throughout most of the greater Charleston area; please check our map and zip code chart for locations to be sure that we can serves you. Our bouquet route delivers bouquets from 08:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Same day and non-standard delivery times are by request only, and are subject to availability and additional charges.     Health & Safety

    Please note that as a business, Charleston Balloon Company is following all guidelines issued by the CDC & South Carolina state laws in regards to Covid-19. We are going above and beyond to ensure all employees and visitors abide by these guidelines. 

    Charleston Balloon Company I a physical retail location and as such as such may require that any client who enters the establishment to follow the CDC guidelines for businesses under Covid Regulations & wear a face covering.

    All clients must administer a self-assessment prior to entering the establishment of 1559 Sam Rittenberg Blvd.. Should you feel any symptoms of Covid-19, or any other sickness, please do not enter our establishment. We have online shopping & curbside pickup options available to you Instead.

    The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of[18]. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

    Charleston Balloon Company does not hold credit card information for future events, only for specific requirements (i.e. rentals or security deposits). If we ask for credit card information, it is to place an order for you or to hold the information until the completion of your event. We do not hold onto credit card information, even if you are a repeat customer.

    We will ask for it every time.

    Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive.

    Our website uses these “cookies” to collect information and to improve our Service. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

    By answering our questionaires, quizes, lead forms, and the genreal use of our website, you consent to the use of our technology to report analytics and data for our internal market reserach purposes.

    PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY POLICIES

    Due to the nature of our industry and the role of social media in it, by tagging us in your posts with our products, we assume the right for reposting, & additional markjeting purposes on these iamges, videos, and reviews.

    Prior to balloons leavin gour shop, we often take marketing images & videos for our own marketing uses. We reserve the rights to these images and videos as they are of our work.

    Due to the nature of our industry and the role of marketing & social media in it, we often take marketing images & videos for our own marketing uses. We reserve the rights to these images and videos as they are of our work as we see fit.

    EVENT POLICIES

    Event Product Minimum

    The product minimum for us to consider you an event is $250-$750 (based on the delviery/event date) on product only (excluding tax, delivery, premium upgrades, etc.). Your occasion may classify as if your occasion requires delivery, installation, setup, a large quantity of product, or rentals.

    Event Deposits

    If you are looking to place an event with Charleston Balloon Company, we may require an event deposit for larger events.

    Due to the nature of our industry and the fast paced environment of our small bsuiness, any event changes or canellations made during the two week prior to the event date is subject to either additional charges, billing, or the forfeit of an event deposit.

    If you (the client) need to reschedule the delivery/event date, we can apply store credit to future orders providing that notice is given at least 7 days prior to event. If you (the client) are cancelling or rescheduling event within 7 days from event, there will be no cancellations or credits issued and payments will be forfeited.

    *PLEASE NOTE – this policy also applies to any event being canceled or rescheduled due to COVID-19*

    If you are looking to place an event, please note that as of 2022, our turn around time and calendar has doubled in speed. As such, we require that ALL TOTAL EVENT PAYMENTS be made in full no later than three days after receiving your event invoice.

    Please Note: Failure to pay an event in full may result in the loss of product or calendar availability for your event.

    RETAIL POLICIES

    With the current climate across the globe, international suppliers are struggling to work within the restrictions put in place. Whilst we're working to ensure your products are exactly as advertised, there may be cases where very small amendments are made to the bunch, or the balloon, that you receive. Changes to the style of the bunch will only be made if the Charleston Balloon Company Family are happy with the overall look and feel of the bunch and that it matches as close as possible to the one ordered. If there are any changes that need to be made to your order which completely change the aesthetic of the bunch ordered, our Online Sales Team will contact you with alternatives.

    Refunds

    Due to our extremely fast & efficient turnaround time, we do NOT issue refunds.

    Returns

    We are unable to accept returns of inflated and personalised orders. Due to their nature, they are perishable and individually created for each customer, therefore, cannot be reused or resold. If your items are faulty this does not affect your statutory rights.

    Faulty/Defective Product

    Due to the nature of our products, sometimes they may arrive not looking as intended. A plethora of issues can cause a balloon to shrink, expand, implode, leak, etc.; especially in regards to mother nature. Should your balloons end up damaged in transit, please email us a picture of your product within 24 hours of its arrival and we'll do all we can to rectify. 

    As our products are perishable, we're unable to issue discounts or refunds if an image of the faulty item isn't provided within 24 hours of arrival.

    We do require payment in full at time of placing order(s); no order is confirmed until payment has been received. Payments are non-refundable, only transferrable to future orders, and will be subject to the current pricing. If you cancel an order before any production has been placed on the order, you may cancel your order for a 10% cancellation fee. If production has begun and you attempt to cancel, then you may still do so at a loss of your investment and either donate the order or still maintain pickup/delivery.

    PROPERTY & POSESSION

    Balloons & balloon decor purchased via pickup from Charelston Balloon Company is considered the property of Charleston Balloon Company until the balloons have left the interior premeses of the location of 1559 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407. It is the responsibility of the client or pickupee for the client to ensure the health and safety of the balloons/decor from that point on, as Charleston Balloon Company holds no responsibility for products which are lost, stolen, damaged, pop, leak, etc. from outside the interior premsises.

    Balloons & balloon decor purchased via Uber/Lyft pickup & delivery service from Charelston Balloon Company is considered the property of Charleston Balloon Company until the balloons have left the interior premises of the location of 1559 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407 & exited the store front with the client's Uber or Lyft driver. It is the responsibility of the client or pickupee (Uber or Lyft driver) for the client to ensure the health and safety of the balloons/decor from that point on, as Charleston Balloon Company holds no responsibility for products which are lost, stolen, damaged, pop, leak, etc. from outside the interior premises.

    Note: The terms Uber and Lyft and used interchangeably for any transportation service.

    Balloons & balloon decor purchased via event installation or Charleston Balloon issued delivery services from Charelston Balloon Company is considered the property of Charleston Balloon Company until the balloons have have arrived at the predetermined delviery location. It is the responsibility of the client, alternate point of contact, or gift recipient to ensure the health and safety of the balloons/decor from that point on, as Charleston Balloon Company holds no responsibility for products which are lost, stolen, damaged, pop, leak, etc. from then on.

    Note: By designating that Charleston Balloon Company is "okay to leave" a balloon delivery at the predisclosed location without signoff from a recipient, the client or ordereee takes responsibility for the health and safety of the balloons/decor from that point on, as Charleston Balloon Company holds no responsibility for products which are lost, stolen, damaged, pop, leak, etc. from then on.
